Smoke

Smoke is brooding and beautiful—Syrah leads the way with dark fruit, cracked pepper, and a hint of wild earth, while Grenache adds bright red plum and Mourvèdre deepens the mood with savory spice and structure. It’s layered, textural, and unapologetically bold—a wine with presence.

2023 Smoke Paso Robles – Templeton Gap
80% Syrah, 10% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre
Tasting Notes
Blackberry compote, black pepper, violet, charred herbs, and dusty cocoa. The texture is plush yet firm, with a slow-burn finish that lingers long after the glass is empty.
Pair With
Grilled lamb with rosemary, wild mushroom risotto, fire-roasted vegetables, smoked paprika anything, or a record that deserves to be played all the way through.
Mask
Soft voice, strong spine. She wore it well.
Mask is mysterious, magnetic, and built around Mourvèdre’s quiet power—earthy, soulful, and slightly wild. Grenache and Syrah play supporting roles, lifting the fruit and adding whispers of warmth and spice. It’s a wine that evolves in the glass, revealing more the longer you sit with it.

Tasting Notes
Notes of black cherry, fig, dried lavender, leather, and a trace of worn cedar. Balanced and elegant with a savory edge, like something old-souled and hard to forget.
